Dennis Kapchok popularly known as Mulmulwas was arrested on Friday afternoon.
According to sources, DCI sleuths arrested Mulmulwas at his home in Kapenguria and was bundled into a white Subaru Outback and taken to Nairobi.
It is reported that he is being held at Capital Hill Police Station, where he will spend his weekend.
Reasons for his arrest is not yet known though it is alleged that he was arrested over a social media post he did defaming Senate Majority Leader Samuel Poghisio.
The political activist has been waging a social media war against the West Pokot Senator and County Assembly Speaker Catherine Mukenyang.
