Jubilee leaders have laughed off NASA’s claim that they will amass 10 million votes in the upcoming general elections.

Speaking in Surumben, West Pokot county Governor Simon Kachapin, Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen and Kericho Senator Aaron Cheruiyot said the opposition will not achieve that target.

The Jubilee leaders said the opposition is only playing mind games by proposing fictitious figures.

Senator Murkomen castigated NASA for posting imaginary figures to give their supporters false hope.

“They should stop this cheap propaganda. They have no plan, agenda or idea. They can’t govern this country because they have no capacity to transform the nation,”he said.

Murkomen said that the Jubilee government development initiatives have contributed to peace among the Marakwet and Pokot communities.

Kericho Senator Aaron Cheruiyot said Jubilee’s development agenda for Kenyans has forced many voters, especially those in opposition strongholds to reconsider their stand.

“Many people, especially in the areas perceived to be opposition strongholds have now defected to Jubilee and we wonder where are the 10 million votes our colleagues in NASA are talking about,”said Cheruiyot.

Senator Cheruyoit said Jubilee has initiated various development projects in West Pokot that can transform lives especially in the fields of education, health, and infrastructure.

Governor Kachapin it was wrong for NASA to bank on imaginary figures saying this was a plot to prepare their supporters to reject the outcome of the poll which he said will favour Jubilee.
